This is a picture of my beautiful, precious wife from last August, 2016, in Traverse City. After battling for many months, Carolyn Denise (Rogers) Rakowicz passed away in my arms early Wednesday morning, June 7, 2017, at 2:22 AM. She was 48 years old. She died peacefully, in her sleep. I want to thank everyone who has been so amazingly supportive. While it’s hard to type through the tears, I wanted to share this news that this wonderful lady has passed on into Heaven. My life has been blessed beyond measure having had her love and affection all these years. I’ve never known a more perfect woman. I love her so, so, much.

This Essential Spiritual Fitness Program is in memory and honor of her, as she was a devoted Christian and the catalyst behind the whole thing, as well as my many books. She was as Christian a woman as I’ve ever known and wanted nothing more than for the fullness of the gospel message to be shared.

She is survived by me, her loving husband of 27 years, Paul; our children, Jessica (Jeff) Allen, Cara, John, Caitlin, and Joline Rakowicz; our granddaughter, Amelia Allen; her father, Walter Rogers; her sisters, Janet, Deborah, Rebekah, Amanda, and Stephanie; and her mother-in-law Rita Rakowicz; also many extended family and dear friends.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother, Karen Rogers, and father-in-law, Chester Rakowicz.

Visitation was held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 East Liberty St., Milford on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 2 – 8pm.

Carolyn’s Funeral Service was held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11 AM with a gathering beginning at 9 AM. Burial followed at All Saints Cemetery, Waterford, Michigan.
